Everything you need to know about visiting Uvac Special Nature Reserve in Serbia

I rented a vehicle (a stunning red Fiat 500) from Belgrade and invested a week exploring this surprise gem in the Balkans. And while Croatia & & Montenegro continue to hold the title as my preferred Balkan locations, Serbia ended 2nd, along with Slovenia & & Bosnia.

There is no much better way of exploring a nation than a road trip, specifically if you wish to leave the cities and traverse the outskirts. Serbia is a lot more than Belgrade & & Novi Sad, two of its largest cities. Replete with mountains, valleys, rivers, nature reserves and some beautiful, scenic hiking routes, Serbia surprised me pleasantly, since it was prettier than I had actually anticipated.

To explore Uvac Special Nature Reserve, I recommend you base yourself in Zlatibor. The finest way to check out the reserve is by taking a directed trip since that will make your travel much simpler. Serbia isnt excellent when it comes to public transport connectivity sadly and while the roadways are fantastic in general to drive on, some specific parts can get hard and challenging.

I will be honest- the only reason I made it was due to the fact that I discovered a local Serbian household to offer me business.
