Photography + Wine = Fun!

Well do all that in a phenomenally lovely area of the world. After gathering for a brief stint in San Fran, we head north over the Golden Gate into the wonder of wine country.

Cant await the spring for many reasons, like much better weather condition and better news on the travel front, but mostly due to the fact that of a new workshop in lovely California Red wine Nation with Liza Politi and Ari Espay.

And … book discussions! My new book, The Real Deal, will be well out already, and my editor at Rocky Nook, Ted Waitt, has actually assured to come by for at least one of the weeks to sit with the class and talk about the procedure of releasing a picture and making book.

Pleased about this workshop! Ive kidded with our participants over email that we can rest on a gorgeous veranda overlooking a luscious landscape, cameras on tripods, an auto-bracket set, radio remote in one hand, glass of wine in the other!

The relaxed nature of where we will be lends itself to lovely light, images of the land and of people, and the sharing aspects of workshops.

Very first week is sold out, so May 1– May 7 dates were included by request for a second week.

These workshops are all involving, and the aim is to jointly push the picture needle out of recognized convenience zones into brand-new methods of shooting and seeing. There will be landscape shooting aplenty, blended with portraiture, information work, flash work, street shooting (when we meet in San Francisco), editing skills, and class discussions.
