You Don’t Have To Settle For The Image That Comes Out Of The Camera

On Wednesdays episode of “The Grid” we did one our most popular episodes (an idea from our friend Terry White), where we ask our audiences to send out in an unedited picture (like the Raw “in the past” image seen below sent out in by Fredrik Brettman). The picture is strong– really well made up, its a terrific subject, theres simply a ton to like, however when you shoot in RAW, you typically get an extremely flat-looking picture to start with, but as youll see in the short video listed below– you dont need to go for what comes out of the electronic camera. Thats why we have Lightroom and Photoshop– to bring images like Fredrik captured to life.
In this clip from The Grid” listed below I take you from the Raw image (above left) to the after image on the right, and you see every step of the process along the method. The video starts 9-minutes and 21-seconds into the program– best where I begin editing the Raw image. Its most Lightroom/Camera Raw, with some cool, however really simple, moves in Photoshop, and then an optional relocation at the end. Hope youll examine it out listed below:
See, thats why we require post-processing. Thats why learning this things is so important, but as soon as you learn it, its so much enjoyable seeing what develops.
Hope you found that useful, practical, fun, and heres wanting you a fantastic, safe, healthy, pleased weekend!:-RRB-.
