Zero in on What Matters

Youve followed your curiosities, discovered your instructions, and made some strides along the course, now what?

Nothing happens on its own. You need to put things in motion, and intentionally focus your time and energy around developing skills. If you stop working to narrow your focus, you run the danger of having your attention and energy pulled in several directions, ultimately preventing development in any single domain.

This episode is a little suggestion. Its a message Im informing myself and I hope it resonates with you too.

Focus your life as if it is your portfolio. Pick your winners and focus on those winners with all your energy.

The more you can narrow your focus, the much faster youll find out, and the more efficient youll become. Define your path and get rid of distractions that stand in the way. What does that look like?

For me, it was the choice to drop out of graduate school, and double down on his photography profession. As soon as I made that decision, and non-stop focused on my craft, I went from having a few regional clients, to working with major sports brands, athletes, and stars all around the world.

This idea goes beyond career. The goal is to be able to no in and concentrate on the things that really matter to you– this could be relationships, family, pastimes, travel, physical fitness, etc– anything that gives you more life, more purpose, or more joy.

Opportunities exists something deep within of you, that contacts us to you, that you know you are withstanding. What is that thing? How can you build your life around that thing? Pull on that thread. No in and focus ruthlessly.
